High Magnetic Flux Density Sintered Neodymium Magnet

Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB) or Neodymium magnets are extremely strong for their size. Available in various shapes including rings, blocks, discs and custom configurations. To prevent oxidation, these magnets are typically finished with zinc, nickel or epoxy coatings.

Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing process involves melting the elements together and milling them into powder. This powder is then dry-pressed into shape under a magnetic field, sintered, ground to precise dimensions, magnetized, and thoroughly tested. These are classified as "rare earth" magnets due to their composition from elements in the lanthanides section of the Periodic Table.
